Hurricane Milton's 84mph gusts were accompanied by powerful EF3 tornadoes—stronger than most locals had ever seen. The rain was relentless. The wind howled. It was terrifying and surreal.

And slowly, almost miraculously, the trees began to grow new leaves. Many had seemed lifeless—but they were quietly holding on. 

Each piece in this collection reflects that feeling of hard-won peace. The trees, like us, are healing. Each one is finding its way back to beauty, carrying the strength of what it survived.
