This painting was made from a photograph of Yosemite take by my sister Frances Krebs. She is an oil painter. We saw each other in mid-December and each painted this scene. It is a fall scene with a little snow on the mountain top and more on the valley floor where it does not get much sun. This is my watercolor version.
